I was in such a great need for a pasta spoon because of me accidentally placing my old one in hot oil and melting it completely, that I was excited to receive this product at a discount for my honest review. This spoon certainly did not disappoint. Not only is it made out of silicone, but the handle is nice and heavy and made from stainless steel. The silicone has a heat resistance up to 440 degrees, but I still won't use it in hot oil! Lol lesson learned! It is a nice size as well and the quality is great. It collects my pasta without a problem and I know this will last me for a long time. To my surprise, it came with a wonderful gift that is quite handy! I tend to have a lot of containers without lids and this is a blessing as I don't need to put plastic wrap or foil over it. Love my spoon and gift!
