Pro-25

My husband and I both take this product. I did lots of research and read numerous reviews, and find this product to be one of the best. I do wish it came in a larger quantity though. I personally believe that your gut is the number one cause of any illness or disease. So, if your gut is healthy then so will you. We do not get good nutrients from our soil and food anymore, therefore it's very important to give your gut the best in probiotics. This helps with curing leaky gut, which left unchecked, allows toxins into your system. Close the leaks and you'll start feeling so much better. I honestly feel that was my problem. I had aches and pains, got colds, and just didn't feel my body was doing well. I began taking Pro-25 and within a week I could tell something was different. It makes you very regular, and overall feel so much better. I do not have headaches, body aches, and very seldom get sick with nothing more than a cold. I think that's due more to a seasonal allergy. We both really, really like this product and highly recommend.

I'd been having GI issues (bloating, stomach cramps) for a few months prior to purchasing Vitamin Bounty and after multiple diet changes, I was beginning to get desparate. After searching the web I noticed a lot of articles touting the benefits of probiotics. So of course the next thing I searched for was "best probiotics" and among the five contenders was Vitamin Bounty. It was on the list because the third party site said it was both affordable and verified to have live cultures (which supposedly a lot of probiotic products don't actually have). After two days (only 1 pill a day) my bloating and cramping was gone. I'm guessing my gut flora was seriously out of balance, but this probiotic worked really quick to correct it. If you're having GI issues, it would definitely be a mistake not to give probiotics a try, and this one definitely did the job for me. It's worth noting that the pill is a little big, but it's probably just because it's packing so much of the good stuff in it. Solid A product in my experience.

Vitamin bounty Pro-25 is an amazing product! It has 13 probiotic strains and 25 BILLION organisms per capsule which is a lot more than a lot of probiotics on the market! It has made a huge difference in my digestive system. I have MS (Multiple Sclerosis) and have had some improvements from several of my MS symptoms thanks to the Pro-25 probiotics. They have helped reduce my MS related pain. They have helped give me more energy which has helped with my MS fatigue. Another great thing about this probiotic is that they use a delayed release capsule to make sure that more cultures get to were they are needed! Another plus is that these are freeze dried probiotic strains so they don’t have to be refrigerated! I highly recommend these to anyone looking for a great probiotic!

It's too soon to tell how it's helping at this point which is why only 4 star but it hasn't caused any side effects in over a week of taking and I really like that this is a shelf stable product versus needing to be refrigerated. The acid resistant capsule is another feature I really like. Looking forward for continual improvement from this product! I will be ordering more in the future since the last ones I took for over a year (Garden of Life) seemed to do nothing for my digestion and it only got worse.

This probiotic seems to work well the capsule is on the large side but since you are only taking one not two or more as some require it is to be expected and it is still easy to swallow. I tried a probiotic shaped like a sphere it seemed to work well but it would get stuck in my throat a few times almost going down the wind pipe so could not take it as it was not worth the potential problems of choking or getting in the lungs somehow. This probiotic has been gentle and I have noticed the effects immediately after not taking any probiotics for a long time and eating chili twice in one week acid reflux occurred and would not calm down. What a lousy way to spend a week. I have no idea why it triggered such a strong reaction that just would not go away or calm down. After taking this for just a few days that stopped. Hope this review is helpful. 2019-11-07 Update I stopped taking this product for a while and did just fine until I got sick with the flue which totally disrupted my digestive system. I was suffering Acid re-flux like crazy and remembered what had been missing... these antibiotics. Ordered two bottles and am now 1/2 way through the second time to reorder. This stuff works have been better ever-since taking them and got rid of the cough that would not go away also.

I bought this product to help deal with my IBS-D symptoms after reading about all the strains that are helpful for IBS. My doctor recommended Align which I originally took along with my IBS medicine, and I didn't see any benefit. After two weeks on my first bottle of Vitamin Bounty Pro-25 (plus Viberzi prescribed by my doctor), my IBS symptoms went away completely! I was amazed, as I've struggled with these symptoms every day for about 10 years. I then signed up for subscribe and save, and I got my second bottle last week. Since I've started on the second bottle, I've begun experiencing the symptoms again. I think I may have just gotten a bad batch. I'm going to continue on it because I know this product can work better than the several other probiotics I've tried, however, I'm disappointed that the quality doesn't seem to be consistent. *Update: the company has sent me a replacement bottle. I appreciate the great customer service! If the new bottle works, I will update my review accordingly. *Update 2: I have received my new bottle, but it was left in the mailbox in 90 degree heat instead of delivered to my door or at the apartment office. Unfortunately, I'm not sure it's even worth it to try the new bottle. While this isn't the fault of the company, I do wish there had been delivery directions to not leave the package in the heat.
