Great for new learners
My kindergartener has been struggling with her writing for a couple of years now. She recognizes the letters and can read fairly well, but her writing is atrocious and difficult to read. I noticed her grip was way off and most of the grips allow her to misuse them. This is the only one I've found that forces all her fingers to be in the correct position. Her writing is SOO much better when she uses this and it actually legible!

Good for anyone who has hand trouble
I have bad arthritis in my hands but these allow me to use a pen for a little while. They have great structure and they support your hands well

Definitely improved writing
My autistic son's writing immediately improved after using this to hold the pencil correctly without my hand having to hold his in place. I had tried many other grips before finding this one. He still floats his wrist and arm, but the correct pencil grip that will grow with him is a great start.

Looks odd and works great!
Once little hands get used to holding the "handle" part of the gripper it becomes natural for them to tuck those fingers in when writing without the gripper. It might seem akward to hold at first because it is, but it works well to train little fingers.

Helps me hold my pencils
Helps me hold my pencils. As I'm getting older it is harder for me to color with pencils. I enjoy making cards and coloring but I do less because of my hands hurting. These grips are helping because it allows me to use less pressure to hold the pencils and more control from my whole hand. Yes at first it was different but a I got use to the grip. I wondered if they would fit my fingers (I wear a size 9 ring, so not tiny hand) and its does. For me they are helping, so I would say at least give them try.
