Love them
I really like these in winter, they are a bit heavier material, but super soft and durable stitching. I have multiple sets of higher thread count and keep coming back to these.

There is nothing like Italian-made fabric for sheets
These sheets are an excellent weight, beautiful color, and if care instructions are followed, they remain lovely and are delightful to sleep in. I suspect that complaints of a rough sand-paper-like feel comes from over drying. For best results damp dry and iron to return the sateen sheen. Damp dry even if you do not iron them, and your sheets will be soft and comfortable to sleep in, though they will not have the sheen. I took off a star because the seams pucker when washed. Ironing corrects the puckering. But I often do not iron sheets, and I think that when damp dried, unironed sheets are soft and have a nice natural look to them that stills reads as luxurious. The puckered seams really take away from the look of these fine bed linens. The color that I purchased is light taupe. The packaging states that these sheets are made in the USA of Italian fabrics. I am a long loyal customer of Sferra Italian bedding, and I find this fabric to be comparable, so I have no reason to doubt this claim. The sheets are also light in weight as consistent with 300 thread count. If you prefer heavier weight sheets go for a higher thread count. I speculate that denser sheets attained by the use of a higher thread count would be better at repelling pets hairs too. (Another reviewer complained of pet hairs getting caught in these sheets.) Plus, one could go on and on about how thread count is determined. For example, the yarn itself may be single ply, double ply, or even triple ply, so the thread count could be doubled or tripled, based on whether each single yarn or each individual ply, in the warp and weft, is counted.Of course, thread count is only part of the equation when it comes to comfortable sheets. The finishing process of the fabric is even more important. It has been my experience that because of their finishing treatment, lower thread counts of Italian made fabrics compare favorably to higher thread counts of fabrics made elsewhere. All items are roomy. The fitted sheets fit my 18-inch mattress well. The drape of the top sheet covers the sides completely and can be tucked under the mattress. Other nice touches include hemstitching on the top sheet and pillowcases. Plus, the pillowcases have an internal flap that can be used to achieve a more finished look...it keeps the end of the pillow from showing...very nice.

adhesive for pet hair.
These are made in india out of the cheapest poorest quality cotton available These sheets adhere to pet hair with such tenacity, I takes most of a day to get it off, The sheets are thick but come out of the washer with dry spots. It takes less time to dry them in the dryer, than it does a pair of jeans. Makes me doubtful that they are even cotton. These exact same sheets can be purchased on ebay for less than $200.00. They have a rough hand, and a chemical smell out of the package. I have true 1000 tc sheets that are thicker and softer, and pet hair rolls right off. Not what I paid $200.00 bucks for. you will never get the pet hair out of these.
