the sticky felt side that goes toward the hardwood floor works great, but the plastic lined side that the runner sits on, I'm not crazy about - runner keeps moving off the rug pad and I'm constantly having to adjust the runner. Will probably look for another type of non-skid pad

The runner in our upstairs hallway (which is carpeted) has been driving me nuts for ages. It just won't stay put. I was skeptical that this product would keep the runner from moving all around on the carpet. However, it's been almost a week, and the runner has stayed put. I am pleasantly surprised.
