The package came with a 16g solid core wire that matched my existing Invisible Fence brand 16g wire. Took me about 7-8 minutes to splice them together. Great product.

Works great, easy to fix the broken wire on the invisible dog fence.

The wire was showing through the casing in three different spots. We had ordered extra length, so it worked out, but make sure you check the wire before using it.

This worked well for my invisible fence repair. I wouldn’t mind an extra splicing cap or two, but the two are what is essential. There is grease in the caps. I didn’t use the stakes, but burying the line without them worked for me.

The only reason for rating 4 stars and not 5 is because there were no instructions in the package on how to use the waterproof tubes. Had to YouTube instructions for that. I suppose if you’re an electrician you are familiar but have little to no experience with wiring. Otherwise it did the trick to repair the invisible fence wire that I cut through when digging up a stump from a tree I took down.

I too was frustrated not knowing how to attach the plastic pieces. I read the questions and some nice person mentioned the instructions are right on amazon's product description. Once I read them the rest was a piece of cake. I am a 62 yo woman with no electrical experience (except for maybe re-wiring a lamp). I fixed the dog fence myself in 5 minutes!
