CCTV Outdoor Auto Track Tracking PTZ Camera 1/3" Sony 700tvl 30x Zoom 360°/s IR High Speed Dome Security Camera with Fan & Heater & Wiper

This is an awesome PTZ for the price. Set up for first time users can be challenging (to say the least). First used with Swann system and unable to properly interface with camera, only able to modify very basic parameters. Then broke down and purchased keyboard/ joystick controller and all options and full functionality became available. Since upgraded to a Lorex DVR. Interface is night and day difference. Lorex gives all the same options as the additional controller but it prebuilt into the program (if I would have known differences in systems I wouldn't have bought the controller). This camera has more options and potential than anyone can reasonably use. YES, it's that cool. Auto tracking functions freaks people out. For optimal use of auto tracking I recommend the amount of camera rotation be < 15 degrees. This is because you can make it auto zoom while it tracks. $400, worth every penny. Doesn't come with a pendulum mount. Only gave 4-star because it whooped me setting it up. But knowing all the options and possibilities with this camera it was worth the struggle.

I "bench test" cameras before I put them up. This camera was showing black and white not color with my Qsee dvr. I discovered that I was sent a PAL camera not NTSC, thanks to Holdoor store support. They are going to send me a NTSC module with instructions on how to take the camera apart and replace the module. Everything else works fine. There should be something in the order process to specify PAL or NTSC.I'm having an issue with the night viewing. The image is not clear at all and I have lines scrolling vertically. I adjusted the IR power setting and that seemed to help, however there is nothing in the manual to tell me what all those numbers mean. Daytime picture is good but night is really bad compared to my other cameras. Maybe I have a bad module, or I need to look for a Sunba.

Has good specs and features. Looks like ok quality but failed shortly after the installation. Needed to return for refund.
