Yesterday, my son and I had the pleasure of ready My People are Innovative and we absolutely loved it. The representation of a family from the same culture. He was so excited to read and clearly understand all the possibilities ahead of him. Thank you so much Dr. Tasha for this amazing book. I'm ordering it for my sister for her kids. ❤❤❤

This is a great book that focuses on a view of history that is so important! It comes from a lens of children so they can easily relate. It’s wonderful! The coloring book also adds value in adding additional resource for children to explore this history.

In a world where there is very little literature for young children dedicated to African-American inventors, I say finally! Love the exposure to inventors often not recognized or less talked about.

I enjoyed reading this story book with the kids. It’s a great story about inventors. I loved the unique illustrations. The author did a great job educating young kids about black innovators.
