Die Wolfram Karbid Spitze ist durch eine Spannhülse gesichert und auch Dank dieser umdreh- und austauschbar. Auch bei dickem Zunder gelingt das anreißen problemlos. This is about the size of a ballpoint pen and easily slips in a pocket. Great for marking on metal surfaces which is what I used it for. It easily leaves a mark on mild steel sheet. I have used it to draw around a template before cutting the steel with snips for car body repairs. A fair bit of pressure is required to leave a mark. The tip leaves a very thin scratch. If working with steel regularly then this would work well with engineers blue. The opposite end to the point has a magnet which is just about strong enough to hold the weight of the item. It’s quite heavy as it’s robustly made. When you get this item the point is reversed and stored inside the item, you need to unscrew the collet tip and remove the tip to expose the sharp point.
