They are typical standard size pillows. I have not noticed any of the usual issues of the feather shafts poking through the material, they are soft and can be fluffed into a firmer or flatter shaped pillow. Have not noticed any odor or heat issues in using them. They are feather/down pillows so they do flatten out some throughout the night but easily fluff back up and conform to your neck and shoulders.
