does this cooker auto switch to warm when food is done?

To the person who answered this question, umm I remember there being a automatic switch on a slow cooker before so it’s not a dumb question for someone to ask!!

what is the insert made out of?

The insert is actually made from stoneware and not ceramic. They are closely related but different. The insert is also glazed to provide a fairly, but not completely, non-stick surface. Some stuff will stick but I have never found the stoneware hard to clean even when food is stuck.

Great Purchase

I didn’t realize this didn’t have an indicator light on it. 😜. When I plugged it in and turned it on there was no light. I thought it didn’t work or my electric was out in that socket! 😜 It does work great and high is HOT. Love that it is very large and has different temperatures. Great for big gatherings or making large amounts of homemade sauces, soups, roasts, etc.
