Buyer beware: Nothing at all wrong with this gate, but it took me nearly an hour to get it ready to install it. The gate has 5 different stickers, 3 are very large. They do not peal off easily. I wasted a ton of time scraping them off before the gate looked acceptable to hang. There is no reason to ship it like this. If your lawyers insist on all of these warnings, please make them easily removable.

I've ordered 3 baby gates so far all of which my 6 pound Maltipoo can get through which I don't think should just be as easy as walking through the slats, but she was able to. Not this one. The slats are close together and the 2 side slats that were included ensured that she could not get out. Second, the assembly was a snap. No screws or tools are required. Third, it looks really nice and the gate swings in both directions. You will not be the least bit disappointed and I want to thank the previous reviewers who answered my questions before I ordered.

These are absolutely the best pet gates on the market - hands down! Just ordered my 5th and 6th gate to use in other areas of my home. They lock on the top AND the bottom of the gate so dogs can't push them open as with other gate manufacturers. I wouldn't consider any other brand of gate as these couldn't be improved upon. One clue is to accept that the safety stickers on the gate have to remain there. Trying to remove them will damage the beautiful wood. But if you are looking for the best pet gate EVER - this is the one! They come in different heights AND widths, so measure to fit your door or much larger opening. You will LOVE these gates!

We have two Basset Hounds who love to get into trouble. We use the gate to keep them out of the living room that has a very expensive rug. It works wonderfully. It is easy to walk through and attractive at the same time. It matches our woodwork exactly. I highly recommend it for anyone who has a pet or small child that they want to keep confined to certain rooms in the house. We have another one bought several years ago that we keep at the bottom of the stairs so they cannot go to the second floor. We consider the gates to be very high quality and very attractive. They are much easier than barriers that you have to step over.

I have 4 of these gates right now and they are great. It has been some time since I ordered them and I see that they have changed the heights of them, none of which matches mine. Some where during when I last bought them I couldn't match the ones I have.

Love this Gate! We have a new Puppy, and this gate has made all the difference in the world. Easy to install, very sturdy, and easy to use. It's attractive, and the quality is great. We love the fact that the door swings both ways, too. We will be purchasing another gate, as well. We still have our Richell Gate, from when our other dogs were very young, in front of a large window protecting the wood shutters, and it still looks like new. Richell Gates are the best!

Absolutely wonderful. I did have to have a neighbor install them for me. I'm not good at that kind of thing, but I can't think of anything that I have purchased for my home that has pleased me as much as these gates. I now have three of them and am considering a fourth for another area. They keep my dogs where I want them and they are very attractive. Easy to navigate and the dogs make no effort to jump or push them around. They are a little pricey compared to other gates, but they are worth every penny in terms of stability and appearance.

This was a really nice gate that we had gotten it for my mom who has major coordination issues due to Alzheimer's disease. Unfortunately, when I looked at the mechanism to close, I knew she couldn't use it. The company was very easy to work with and accepted the return with no issues. I will caution though, the return postage was very expensive-about half the cost of the gate! This is not the company's fault in any way, just thought I'd let others know before they purchase.
