A Good Surge Protector With Built-In EMI/RFI Filtration
It does what it is advertised to do. I'm using this surge protector to power all of my workstation gear (desktop PC, monitor, headphone amplifier, desktop DAC, and printer) and it works flawlessly. I'm very happy with this surge protector's performance, because it also provides clean and reliable power to all of my connected electronics, due to its built-in EMI/RFI filtration. It also charges my smartphone and tablet quickly and reliably via its two USB ports (A and C types). The two LED lights are very helpful, which help me ensure that my power line is properly implemented and grounded. Overall, rock solid product from Tripp Lite.

Very good surge protector
I really researched for the best surge protector several years ago after losing very expensive electronics when living in Florida due to lightning strikes. Tripp Lite was rated the best and I bought their most surge protector. I never had another problem. Now living in Chicago, I needed another extension cord. I got this one because I trust this brand. The cord is long enough and it has plenty of outlets.

Best in class..
Sturdy build quality. Very functional. Long & strong cord. Cant go wrong with Tripp Lite. Love their products. Great for travel. On the pricey side though.

Expensive Power Strip
If you want a nice looking power strip with built-in USB ports, this will get the job done. My only two complaints are:1. Only the top half has a metal casing, the bottom black half is still plastic.2. It's expensive at twice the price of Tripp Lite's other 8 outlet surge protector (this is currently $58, while TL's other protector is $27).

Love the built in trip feature.
As I have been using this in a chicken coop to power lights, zero clearance heaters and cameras, this has held up amazingly. I only wish for an upgrade to the housing of actual metal instead of look alike metal plastic, which is what I believed I was purchasing, as fire safety is huge in coops. Next time I will find one with metal housing which is a shame, as this products works.
