Well, I purchased this at a discount from Amazon Warehouse Deals, which never ceases to throw me curve balls. (Previously they sent me a pair of boots, each being a different size). This time, the stapler had clearly been returned and repackaged without anyone having bothered to test it. Anyway, after I figured out how to unjam the stapler loading mechanism, the machine worked perfectly. Very fast and totally adjustable to any length I desired. And it can staple an amazing thickness of sheets. Loading staples never jammed after that, either, so it also helps if the purchaser is not a moron. So five stars for the stapler and one star for good old AWD. If you buy from them, just be prepared for some kind of screw up.

Works great. I never had any mis-fires after using have a box of staples through it.UPDATE: On my third box of staples and the stapler made a growling noise and clamped down on the papers I was stapling. It wouldn't budge or let go of the papers willingly so I had to pull on them really hard to remove from the stapler. Needless to say it riuned my papers and I had to redo them. The stapler is toast. Still clamped down. I'm going to see about a different company to buy from.

Works well, simple and at a good price. Used two weeks so far so good.

Could possibly be the loudest electric personal stapler I have ever owned. My neighboring office mates are not too fond of the noise, however it does staple so it serves it purpose.

So I was recently admiring our office stapler and remembered I should go back and write a review for it. I bought this in October of 2017 for 29.99 and was prepared for it to not work for more than a few uses, based on bad reviews. But i figured I would take the chance and try it because other electric staplers by name brands were over my budget. It is now April 2019 and I can not believe this thing is still trudging along. Before, we had to slam our palms hard on an old metal stapler in order for it to bite through stacks of 15-20 sheets. This thing will staple more pages than that without hesitating. I don't think I have ever changed the batteries, not once since that October of '17. I've never used it plugged in. The only thing I might say is that It does not hold very many staples, but I don't mind. I did notice though that now, it is listed for 59.99. That's a little high, I don't think I would pay that if I were to buy it again. I still see some really bad reviews of this, so maybe I got the shining star of the batch. But I can only review what I received, which indeed is worth 5 stars. It has made our lives so much easier and every time we use it we go "Damn, that is the best purchase I've ever made on amazon".

THIS IS SECOND UNIT PURCHASED. IN BOTH CASES, STAPLER STOPPED WORKING AFTER A SHORT WHILE ON BATTERIES. IN EACH INSTANCE, CHANGED ROTATING OUT BATTERIES; YET, STILL FAILED TO WORK ON BATTERY POWER. CONVERSELY, WORKED ONLY WITH CHARGER. DO NOT RECOMMENDED BUYING; AND WOULD OPT FOR THE ECOELECTRONIX EQUIVALENT ELECTRIC STAPLER.

I had high hopes for this stapler, based on all the glowing reviews. My first red flag went up when the one-sheet manual couldn't decide how to spell "stapler." In some places, it was "stepler." In one spot, it was an "electronic staler."I went ahead and plugged it in this morning and it made some weird grinding noises. I unplugged it, loaded it with standard staples and plugged it in again. Grinding noises resumed and then the stapler went berserk. It rapidly stapled nothing until the used staples piled up to a height that jammed the machine. Then it overheated and tendrils of SMOKE started curling from its mouth.I unplugged it before my office's sprinkler system could activate. The sides of the stapler were super hot and it continued to smoke for at least a minute. My office still smells like melting plastic.Thank goodness that Amazon's return process is so easy.

Oh my goodness. I'm so glad to be able to review this stapler! Our staff made the mistake of ordering a competitors stapler that was complete junk.So this time we really did our research and we are delighted! This stapler arrived quickly, was packaged very nicely, wasn't damaged and it's holding up incredibly well.We do love that it comes with a 100% guarantee. It really set our mind at ease and we felt good spending the money; just knowing that this company cares enough and stands by their product enough to offer a 100% guarantee goes miles for us.The design is nice and it looks exactly like the photos. We are thrilled with our puchase and hope to NOT have to buy another stapler in a long time. But if anyone ever does need to buy one, THIS is the ONE we will recommend.
