Dee Zee DZ372031 3" Round UltraBlack Nerf Steps

Item arrived on time but had been handled a bit rough. Both steps had a small dent in the center where the threaded bushings are installed that looked more like sloppy tooling or craftsmanship than handling damage from the carrier. No damage to box in this location. I put these on my new truck anyway without complaining about the defect. They are there to be bashed by other drivers doors so they get beat up anyway. The last set I purchased for a different truck were pristine less than a week. Not show quality but good enough for actual protection. They also seem sturdy and more than capable of supporting my 240 pounds. If your building a show truck I would recommend something else. These are budget friendly and functional so they meet my needs well.

I'd give them 5 stars, for quality, fit & finish, and sturdiness. My only gripe is with the instructions. While the text was surprisingly good as far as grammar, syntax, spelling, and punctuation, the pictures were useless. They look like they were taken with a very low resolution camera, as well as very underexposed, and out of focus. If you made a copy of a copy of a copy, etc. you would get this result. I could not even tell if the pictures were of my make and model of truck, or just generic. Inexcusable in this day and age of automatic digital cameras. Once I figured out the first side, the other side was a piece of cake, even working by myself.

good product looks great on truck. directions are hard to under stand if you lay bar on ground where it goes and put center brace on first it was then easyer to figure out'. took 1 1/2 hours to do first side then 1/2 hour to do other side

item is as described looks GREAT on my 2015 G.M.C canyon you really need this step bar if you get a G.M.C canyon much easier to get in and out.BUT!!!The pictures are TERRIBLE smudged and copied to many times very dark so you have to rely on the written instructions which are done exceeding well, just read them carefully.I installed the bars in my garage laying on a concrete floor took me 45 minutes installing the passenger side while reading the instruction, once that was done the drivers side took me 15 minutes not reading any instructions (not bad time for an old time mechanic of 73 yrs)All bolts are metric make sure you have a 10, 13, and 19mm sockets, 1/2 inch drive for the 19mm so that its torqued correctly the others 3/8 inch drive should do OK, after the 3 brackets are installed on the frame keep the bolts loose to the frame place the step bar on the 3 brackets and start with the middle bracket and bolt it to the step bar then do the 19mm bolts to the forward and rear end of the step bar then tighten all up..
