BOSWU BOSU Professional Balance Trainer

I have bad knees due to injuries from not acting my age. Over the years, the pain caused the muscles in my leg to be almost atrophic due to lack of use. I decided to work on this. Seems expensive for what is a half a rubber ball. But it works great. My routine is as simple as possible. I started by standing one legged for 30 seconds each side. After a few weeks, there is appreciable increase in strength in my core and my entire leg. Hip to ankle. Then I do 2 legged squats. I feel much, much better now. Able to move to squat rack, and deadlift, etc at the gym. Even with getting back to weight lifting, I feel that continued use of this balance trainer strengthens parts that weight lifting along doesn't touch. I still use this ball regularly, despite getting my squat from 100lbs to 300lbs now. And the pain in my knee, much better. I'd say it works very very well and worth the expense.

The Bosu ball itself is great and groovy--but the box arrived with just the Bosu and the pump inside...it did not have the healthy diet guide or the instructional training book mentioned in the details description. I later saw that I could have purchased a bosu ball with these items and a DVD at a cheaper price than what I paid through Amazon--though the picture used for this purchase does actually show the DVD included but not in the text. Amazon did resolve the issue in a fair manner and I see it has been taken off the list of choices for Bosu balls.

This should be 0 stars for Amazon and whoever is advertising this, not the product. After reading the reviews, I was careful to choose the one that had the gray bottom, indicating the professional version, and of course the price was much higher for that version, so I was convinced I would receive the right one. Even after all of the bad reviews, Amazon not only shipped the wrong item, but shipped and charged for 2 of them when only one was ordered. What a waste of time. Now they want me to pay to ship both of these heavy times back. Not going to do it.

The product itself is a wonderful exercise tool, usable in a whole range of ways, and well-made. The accompanying booklets and DVDs are also excellent.My only quibble is that the pump that is included is worthless, and therefore if you buy one you should plan on finding an alternate means of inflation.

I am very happy with my purchase. Wish It had come with a dvd so I could learn more to do with it. But it's a quality product and i'm totally satisfied with it.
