It is what it is: basically a wooden stick. The thing about this back scratcher is that it works as you’d expect.I needed a back scratcher because of an injured shoulder limiting mobility. Before buying this one I purchased a cute, fancier extendable one and was very disappointed because it wouldn’t stay in the extended position, leading to a very frustrating scratching experience. With this stick? Itches eliminated, no weird design errors to get in the way of satisfaction.

I bought this for my wife who is never satisfied with the way I scratch her back and asked me to get this for her. She uses it every day and claims that it is far more satisfying than what I can do scratchwise. Now we are both happy. I have been using a more expensive wood back scratcher myself for several years. I tried out this bamboo scratcher on the sly and it is just as good a scratcher as mine. For a mere 6 bucks you can hardly go wrong. The only negative is that it is made in China instead of the good old USA. I was tempted to remove one star for that but decided it would be too petty. If you have an itchy back you can get relief with this scratcher at a bargain price.If you don't want to order online just go on over to Dollar Tree and you can get this exact same scratcher for a one dollar. Not as convenient as online but less expensive if you don't have to burn too much gas to get to the Dollar Tree and back home.

My mom was complaining that she couldn't get her back scratched easily when it was itchy, so of course this was the product to look for! It's simple, well-made (no breaking or splintering at all, even with heavy use). She's even used it on bare skin, and says it feels fine (I wouldn't do that, but okay, it's her back). I keep it clean by either wiping it down w/ Lysol Wipe or spraying some Lysol Disinfectant on it. Especially if it'll be used on bare skin, I want it to be clean! This price is just fine. She keeps it in a basket by her favorite chair, and it usually gets used at least once a day.She recently had a medication-induced allergic reaction that broke her out in an itchy rash all over. While she didn't use it on bare skin during this time, but through her shirt, it was a lifesaver to her. She could also reach the back of her legs, arms, etc., without having to strain her back or anything. She's the pickiest person on the planet, and gives this an A+++!

These are back scratchers. Every time I use them, I scratch my back. If you buy them, you can scratch your back too. Don't scratch other's backs without permission. If you'll excuse me now, my back is itching.This is very good price. Buy them for all your friends and they will smile at you when they scratch their backs.

Well, I gotta be honest here, like other reviewers said the thing is pretty dull, but I wouldn't mind that if I could reach my back with it, the problem is its just not curved enough, I still can't get all of my back, the middle part of my back is where it's the most itchy, and it just doesn't get that part, I really wish it was more curved to better get your back without having to be a contortionist, I'll try to rig something up with it, and post back when I do, but right now, I'm not very happy with the product.Edit: sorry it took me so long to get back here, lol, but here's what I did, I bought a 12 inch shelf bracket for 2 bucks at Walmart and used duct tape to secure it to the handle, now I love it, it's longer and can reach all of my back, fantastic!
