Great, but the software is garbo
So, it feels great, the model I got didnโt come with a cherry switches, and the software is kinda dumb. I wish the software was better so I could have blue and pink leds at the same time. The leds are great, they look great, feels good, pretty quiet. Just for me the software doesnโt work and it annoys me cause itโs the same for all my gigabyte stuff.

Great I was in the market for a new keyboard ...
Great I was in the market for a new keyboard and this was everything i wanted. RGB, mechanical, no extended macros. This is a no frills mechanical keyboard. I love the keys, even if they are Kalih Red. The leds are great, they all can be controlled from the keyboard and you do not even need the software. The software adds a little more color customizing, but I am happy with the presets. The brightness levels are great, and again these can be set to the exact you want in the software. I still find the presets just fine. I love this keyboard, and I think it will do the job for me just fine going forward

Good for the price
I was wanting a mechanical keyboard for a while, and saw this one had a rebate. I purchased it for three reasons: 1. It's mechanical. 2. It has RGB LED lighting, which I wanted. 3. It has a clean layout, no cheesy looks to it. In addition, reviews stated that it was solidly built. After using this for a few weeks there are many things I love and some I don't. The lighting is nice. The Gigabyte tool for the lighting gives you three options: consistent, pulsing, or cycling. It can be tough to get the timing perfect for the pulsing and the colors don't seem accurate in the application they provide. The overall look of the keyboard is spot-on though. No over-the-top colors or fancy keys, just a full sized keyboard with bright and clean lighting. They keys themselves are okay. They are mechanical (Kaihl Red, not Cherry), have a nice click to them, but they do take some getting used to. They are also touchy sometimes. If you overshoot a key and just brush an adjacent key, you end up with unwanted characters. You may also find that some of the bigger keys have a "sweet spot", that if not pushed correctly will yield an unactivated keystroke and therefore nothing on screen. The K85 is well-built. It is nice and heavy, with a USB cord that provides plenty of length to reach and wrap around a desk, down to your PC. The keycaps are clear and in a legible font, with their corresponding Functions (including lighting on the Insert-PgDn).

Great Keyboard but my F4 Key's light has a mind of its own
I got mine from Microcenter. Its great. Really good feel on the keys. First mechanical keyboard I've ever owned and I'd buy it again if it broke. But, the F4 key on mine doesn't change the correct color when its in light cycle mode. It glows bright red while the rest of the keys are green or blue. When I set it to solid color, that doesn't happen. Only when its cycling it happens. I keep it on red all the time anyways to match my keyboard and mouse so its not a huge deal. Also, there isn't any software for it for custom key lighting like there is on other more expensive keyboards. It's mechanical, it changes color, thats about it. Which for me is all I wanted. Gotta knock a star off since the rating is off of my own personal experience with it.

Honest Review...
UPDATE: Beware ! The seller may try to give you a faulty keyboard and then send you an email of the service center list. A fellow Amazon customer informed me about the same issue that I had gone through. This not how it works. Lowering the price withing few days to gain attention of possible victims. Product came in good packaging, the keyboard looks good, but I was wrong regarding the quality of RGB LEDs use in this keyboard. On the very first day, the blue colour of two RGB leds went off. I hardly used it for 1 hour and It was showing sign of inconsistent illumination of those LEDs. I got a refund on it, thanks to Amazon & the seller. I order a new Azio MGK-1 RGB keyboard ( I paid a little over ten grand for this new one), which has very good reviews. Here are the pros & cons for this keyboard; Pros: It's made of good material, compact and ease to use. Cons: Too costly; The price was increased from Rs 6,240 to Rs 11,887, because of that, I couldn't re-order it again. The RGB led went off within one hour, so imagine what might happen after a week or so. Service center is not a good solution for replacement of this product, better get another brand as gigabyte isn't that good for keyboards anyway.

The issue is some of the keys randomly stop functioning while others are just fine. I believe the problem is with the key ...
Mechanical keyboards are supposed to have long lives but this keyboard has died on me two times in 1 year. The issue is some of the keys randomly stop functioning while others are just fine. I believe the problem is with the key switches gigabyte is using with this keyboard. It is not from cherrymx or any reputed brand and random switches are dying on the keyboard. Gigabyte service fortunately is very good and they replaced the whole keyboard both the times it had issues. Still the underlying problem with the switches remains and the new keyboard which i received a couple of days back will probably die as well. I DO NOT recommend this keyboard as it is too expensive for the unreliable experience it gives. I rest my case.

HORRIBLE & FAULTY keyboard - should NOT HAVE BOUGHT :(
It is a very bad keyboard - it has faulty keys and some keys randomly stop functioning.. Some have to be pressed twice or thrice. NOT CHERRY MX SWITCHES. Fraudulent SALE. Mechanical keyboards are supposed to have long lives but this keyboard has died. I believe the problem is with the key switches gigabyte is using with this keyboard. They're not from CHERRY MX, And then, Amazon says "warranty not applicable on products sold in India by Amazon Export Sales...." I WANT FULL REFUND OF this FAULTY KEYBOARD SOLD BY AMAZON. I CERTAINLY DO NOT recommend this HORRIBLE & FAULTY keyboard as it is too expensive for the unreliable experience it gives. And THIS IS THE SAME EXPERIENCE OF OTHER BUYERS ON AMAZON.
