I’ve really enjoyed reading this book about one of my favorite bands Simon & Garfunkel. I'm a big Rock & Roll fan and I knew a lot of stories about the different bands - but I always learn something new from James Hoag’s books! The book brought back so many great memories. These people are real Legends of Rock & Roll world. The magic of their wonderful music will live in our hearts forever.If you are interested in classic Rock & Roll, this book is for you! Enjoy!

I have a number of books from this author and this for me is his best yet! The author really gets into the story of Simon and Garfunkel, he makes it something that you follow rather than read. The book takes you from the start to the present, it's packed full of content but it's structured in a way that's both interesting and attention holding. I really enjoyed reading this book and I highly recommend it.

Even if you never have heard the music by Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel this book is a must read, you will want to listen to it after you've read this book.It will take you back to eras past and paint vivid pictures in your mind of how it looked, and the sound of, not only their music, but the important contemporary musicians; it is as if you are there yourself with the author telling you the story of these two exceptional artist.The research is impeccable and there is a drive in the "narration" that keeps you glued to the pages, you simply can't set it down once you start. I really enjoyed this book. I've been a Simon and Garfunkel fan since the early seventies. Couldn't find any books about them until the past year when each artist wrote their individual books. I haven't been much interested in reading those recent publications. I wanted a book that was about both of them.
