all I can say is it works I just got it yesterday so, I've been testing it for 5 min today, I recommend buy sir-mam; In addition, the box is very heavy cause of the stand

Not able to connect
Nothing happened then we plugged it. It's not showing up in settings and no way to find it or use it.

A friggin good mic
To date, this is the best mic I have used for recordings. I record audio books and this did an excellent job at capturing my reading without having a lot of distortion, muffling, or static. Works best in conjunction with an microphone isolation shield. Overall, 5 out of 5 stars. Highly recommended. Works with Macs.

Tips over, not an appreciable difference in sound
The base is not heavy or sturdy enough to hold the mic without being on the verge of tipping. Constantly.The sound quality was not a significant improvement over the built-in iMac mic.
