Handy, cheap, and loud!
I want my grandsons to be able to get my attention (and visa-versa) in the forest. These do the job elegantly;easy to find in most surroundings, easy to keep close (hang it from the lanyard or clip it to your clothes), light and small enough for ultimate convenience, cheap enough to share with friends and to replace when lost, and loud enough to signal even at a distance.A near perfect tool.

Buy them
Loud and light almost indestructible. Lanyard and bright colors are a plus. Great parting gifts for your grandchildren : ) Actually we have a few campers in the family and these are perfect little gifts.

Great value, exact same stamped numbers as the much more expensive ones on various 'survival' sites.
These are the exact same as ITW Survival Whistles which are a complete ripoff at $2.95 each, the only difference is the color. Only complaint is they are slightly more difficult for children to use due to their odd shape, since there's a 'right' and 'wrong' way to hang them/put in your mouth.
