Husqvarna 531300503 Chain Saw Maintenance Kit For 340, 345, 350 and 351

This is the second kit I have ordered. I really liked the first so ordered the second to have on hand when I need it.

I got my Husqvarn 345e chainsaw out of the building and thought “this has been the best chainsaw, I have never had an issue in the 12 years I have owned it”...I started it, cut for about 30 seconds and it wouldn’t run again LOL. Anyway it was WAY overdue for maintenance, so I ordered this kit, put it in and now its good for another 12 years (OK probably not but it is back to running excellent again).

I ordered this kit for my Husqvarna 350 chainsaw to replace the spark plug, air filter and fuel filter. The description clearly states that the kit includes a fuel filter, but that description is incorrect. No fuel filter is included and the seller didn’t bother to respond to my inquiry about the missing filter.

I inherited my senior dad's chainsaw. He'd abused it (like he took out the chain brake). When I started using it, I used this maintenance kit. It was perfect for getting this tool up & running. A trick I learned from a small engine mechanic is to always use fuel freshener like B12. The fuel lines had broken down from all the alcohol in gas these days & I also had to have them replaced. It wouldn't hurt for Husqvarna to add a small bottle of that too even though I buy the big bottles anyway.

Picture doesn’t show the right filter but it is correct for a 345. Worked perfectly.

OEM parts. I replaced the air filter and spark plug and my husqvarna 350 starts much better. I’ll replace the fuel filter soon.

Folks, this kit also fits the Husky 353 (with twist-on filter) and 346XP models. The item description doesn't mention these saw models but the package does. If your saw uses a snap-on filter held in place with a spring wire, the filter in this kit won't do.As shown, this kit contains a replacement air filter, fuel filter, spark plug and a 2.6 ounce container of 2-cycle engine oil to prepare one gallon of fuel. Recommended equipment for your carry case or tool kit.A tip to save yourself a little time on the job: Remove the spark plug from the package and set the gap to spec. Replace it in the package and it will be ready to go when you need it.

All I really needed was the air filter but when I saw the price on those this kit became more attractive. Getting the oil, spark plug, and fuel filter for an extra $5 becomes a bargain and all are items neede for maintenance/operation of the saw. Quality of all items is good and fast shipping too.
