Hello - the instructions are to hand wash in cool water. There is a mix of synthetic and natural textiles in the scarf. I gave these to 8 coworkers for holiday and they all loved them. I gave myself one also. Lovely and they look, feel much more expensive than they are. Enjoy your scarf!
