Plenty of grip on wet sidewalk hills, acceptible for trails too!
Used mostly on sidewalks for over a year. Never slipped on steep wet cement. Grippy rubber and well designed domed radius seems to keep a good contact on inclines. Found myself leaving them on over carbide tips even when hiking on dirt trails. The 1.75" diameter also keeps tips from getting stuck in cracks, especially in cracked clay soil in summer. So I could take off the small 2" baskets of (7 grams) each.Weight is about 30 grams apiece, so these are heavy compared to smaller generic and Leki tips (10-12 grams). Rotate the tips on the poles once in a while for even wear. I'll buy more of these again, a bargain. Where the pole meets the road, second only to a POSITIVE ANGLE GRIP, which is highly recommended for better wrist alignment, providing a completely different hiking experience!

Could have lasted longer.
Don't have other products to compare this to so this is just my opinion and real results. I used these for walking on paved surfaces only, so all 115 miles were this way. 115 mi is how long the first set lasted. 75% of which was more in the Nordic style as opposed to trekking. So the wear is at an angle and not so much on the flat bottom. However the point has broken through the bottom anyway. I'd have to suggest that had I used these in a trekking style all the time they wouldn't have lasted nearly this long. I think 25-30 miles of trek walking would have ended in failure of the point. Update. After months of using these along with a couple others. I'm going to change my review to 5stars from 3. These really do hold up well and proving excellent grip on what ever surface your walking on.

Good non slip and cushioned
These are tough tips, good non slip and cushioned .No problems with them falling off.I did notice after i put them on that they didn't seem to be on all the way. Pulled them off, added a little (gross) saliva, they then went on all the way and have stayed on.Makes the hiking poles great for Nordic walking on sidewalks4/13/18 UpdateI've have had my rubber tips since Jan 2017, I walk on the local paved trail 3 times day 3.53 miles each time, appx 10.5 miles a day. Not sure why the complaints about heavy wear. There is very little wear on my tips.I have watched a few videos of Nordic walkers and they seem to drag the poles on the ground with each step.I pick my pole up off the ground with each step. That may be the difference?

Well Made and Fits
Purchased for my Wildhorn carbon fiber hiking poles (2 sets). I wanted spares. I contacted Wildhorn but they didn't have. I found these and they looked like they were heavy duty and I like the half round profile as they looked like they would work very well on uneven surfaces. I didn't know if they would fit the end, but at the price I figured not a big loss if they didn't. Once they arrived tried and they fit. They were a very firm fit which is good. I have used them and work very well. They look well made and should last a long time. I will purchase again and would recommend.

Better than stock
These arn't light weight by any means but they're one heck of a stout tip for my poles and hiking cane. I've worn thru several of the standard tips but I can see these lasting a long, long time. The mushroom shape is a bonus for pulling or turning over those things you fine out in the wild that you just need to poke with a stick. If these ever wear out, I'll be buying them again.

Great even on wet ground
I bought a pair of skikes and it has poles to go with them. I attached these to the bottom of the ski poles so I could use them on all terrain. They are wonderful. No slipping, falling (because of the poles), provides great support. I know I can depend on a solid grip even on the wet ground.

EXCELENT only complaint is still a little slippage on wet ...
EXCELENT only complaint is still a little slippage on wet road surfaces especially man made and hilly, but cant have durability and the softness to really grip those surfaces well. these fit my poles do a good job on most surfaces and are easy to get on or replace.

New innoventive
Fit all my canes and walking sticks with these and no more slipping of the cane nor walking stick. Allows full extension grip thru the rotation of arm movement. Flat bottomed tips slip or jerk if extended to far off axis these allow a smoother walking pace because they rotate full axis with contact with ground. Have used on flat and some trail areas here in LA and so far no slippage, my biggest complaint with regular cane tips.
