Excellent product, excellent customer service. My 11-yr-old grandson really doesn’t like to follow instructions, but this looked cool enough that he was willing to give it a try. The instructions were easy for him to follow, and he is really enjoying putting it together. The pieces are all well made. We have a dog who loves to chew things that hit the floor, so we lost a piece to her, and the company quickly followed through on its promise to replace any broken or failed parts. Highly recommend this as a gift or project for a pre-teen or even teenager.

My grandson was elated to have received this. Not only is it a fun item, but educational as well. Who knows where this could lead to? A 12 year old designing prosthetics.? Very possible.

This was a awesome by for my 9 year old boy's birthday. He loves to create and build. This ended up being his favorite gift. We loved that it was educational, the instructions were easy for him to follow (a lot like lego insteuctions), it doesn't fall apart or have missing parts, in fact he had extras. I would definitely buy for a gift again!

I gifted this and the pinball machine to my 8 year old cousin and he loved both! I helped him build the hand and the process ended up looking more complicated than it actually was. It was a great bonding experience and I enjoyed watching him use it to pick up various household items once we were done. I would say this is an age appropriate gift and a great alternative to screen time.

Super cool hand that was good to do with a 10 year old. Some parts are hard to assemble alone, given how tiny rubber bands are and many different parts, plus difficult to pop some parts out of the sheets they come in, but a great activity to build together that takes 1.5 - 2 hours. The instructions are easy to follow and the back of the instruction book has great educational lessons and activities! The 10 year old who got this couldn't wait to play, and it fit decently (her hands were a bit too small but it functioned)--she wore it for hours and loves playing with it.

A lovely afternoon with my son spent building this, and it's now one of my 9 year olds most treasured possessions. It is very fiddly to put together, but the instructions are very clear. I would suggest leaving several hours to put it together. I was impressed with how it held his attention for so long, and he loved when we got something working, such as one of the fingers.
