Slik Replacement Quick Shoe for U-5500/6600/8000/9000 Tripods

I purchased a used tripod. This fit perfectly and has held up well.

Works, hasn't broken... it does require a coin or other broad screwdriver-acting item to get the knob tight enough into the camera, or to unscrew it after it's tight enough. That's not as much of a problem on a small lightweight point-and-shoot, but on a heavy-ish SLR the camera will rotate on its own if you don't get this baseplate tight enough, so you do need to carry a large coin or other way of tightening it more than your thumb and finger can do.

Perfect fit for my Slik tripod. Now I can keep one on my oil paint pochade box and one on my Hellman pastel box . I don’t have to worry about switching or forgetting to bring it to plein air painting sessions

Works as designed. Only reason I'm deducting a star is because it didn't come with any instructions, and it took me a minute or two to figure out how it was supposed to mate with the tripod. Oh, and it still isn't clear to me what you're supposed to use to tighten or loosen the screw. I used a quarter, which worked, but it wasn't an exact match for the slot.

I bought for an old Slik tripod where we had lost the shoe somehow. It worked great and was just like the original. Attached to our Cannon Rebel T6 easily.

Wrong size for the tripod

Advertised to fit a Valbon 9000 tripod. It does not! Will be returning.

It fit perfectly and it came in a handy little package with information about the seller. It came one week before Amazon indicated it was supposed to which of course was a great bonus.
