Can I use on vinyl wallpaper with a smooth finish?

Yes, using a standard weight hammer the fixing will easily be affixed to a wallpapered wall. The fixings contain a very handy gadget to hold the fixing to the wall whist you hammer the pins to fix the hanger and to profect your hand as you do so.

Do these work on textured walls? The old bubble kind?

Absolutely not! I tried on old lath plaster and they just rip holes out. Looked fine when first installed and then I hung a very small picture frame and it pulled a circle of plaster out and destroyed the picture frame. Definitely avoid.

Can you use these in brick walls?

Not tried this but I can’t see why not.

The hooks seem to have a part missing is there a cover you can get to cover the four pins? This would really finish these off.

No, there is no cover unfortunately, I suppose they figured once you hang the picture it will be covered anyway.

Good hooks

Someone suggested I tried these as the walls of my house are too hard to hammer nails into. These do the job and have been able to put up all my pictures around the house. Very pleased with them. They are easy to use, feel secure and worth every penny.

HANDY PRODUCT

This is a great little assortment of picture hooks that can actually take the weight of a picture, regardless of the size. This a bargain too.
