This cast was a summer saver! My daughter broke her arm right at the beginning of summer and was devastated to think she wouldn’t be able to swim. Our daughter is super small, and petite, so anything on the market that we could get locally was going to swallow her up, even the pediatric sizes available in stores. So, knowing this was gonna be tough to find locally, I immediately started looking for something to save the day and that’s when I came across Bloccs waterproof arm cast! We only needed the small cast not the full arm since it was just behind her wrist. We got the SMALL and I was still slightly nervous that it’s be too big around her tiny arm but I was totally wrong! It was PERFECT! It didn’t cut off circulation on her arm either which was another worry if it were to be too tight. Easy to put on and take off with an adult or someone assisting the child. Great quality and there wasn’t even the tiniest of drops of water anywhere inside her cover! She was SOO excited to know she could still swim which of course made me happy! I recommended to our doctors office to consider either selling them in house or at least recommending them to their patients! We went to Dollywood in the foam pool and to Pigeon Forge’s newest water park, Soaky Mountain and it worked amazingly well! We hit tons of water slides, jumped in pools, wave pools and swam all wkd at the regular pool and her cast stayed dry every time! This was truly the answer to happiness for my little girl and I’m so thankful!Update: Keep away from your pets! Our dogs for some reason dug my daughters out of the bottom of our pool tote and bit a decent sized hole in the end of the cast cover! I immediately got online and ordered a 2nd one. Unfortunately, it wouldn’t be here soon enough so I had some waterproof gorilla tape and used it over the hole to get us through until her new cover arrives and it’s worked perfectly!! No leaks!!

These really do work! My 4-year-old broke his wrist so had a short cast, and I have used it for baths and swimming and no water got through. A lifesaver in the summer. Sadly there was a user error and it got a tear in it, but I slapped some waterproof gorilla tape over it and it kept on trucking with no problems at all.

It was a little tricky getting it on the first time. But worked amazing!My kid took a bath to test it out before going to the pool tomorrow.Cast was completely dry. Material is durable like a swim cap.

Very disappointed in this product. I triple measured my 3 year old's arm and cast per the sizing instructions before ordering. Cover arrived to test out before she would be swimming on vacation, and we followed the instructions exactly for putting the cover on. It was super tight, nearly impossible to pull up over the cast. When we got it up, the top seal was so tight my daughter was bothered by it. I understand the seal needs to be waterproof to work, but this seemed like it would easily cut off circulation. Such an ordeal to get on/off and 3 year old isn't tolerating it, so money down the drain. Not willing to risk more money on a size up.

We were stressed about water before we got this (summer living on a lake). We have used it so many times for bath/shower, lake, and pool. Works amazing!

Truly waterproof! My daughter could shower and swim with no problem keeping her cast dry! Would recommend for EVERY PARENT who needs to keep casts dry!

My 5 year old son broke his arm at the playground this summer. Off to the emergency room to get a cast on it and he's wondering how he's going to shower and if he's going to get to go to the pool at all this summer! My wife feverishly researched and found these arm covers. We tried hard to make sure we had the proper size. The first one we got was a "full arm" one. It did the job but hung down past his had and flopped around. One funny side effect is that it is full of air and when he's in the pool it keeps him up a bit (buoyancy and all). We misplaced it so we bought a second one, the short length one. This one fit way better. My son didn't like it as much because as he said "it doesn't have a thumb." Honestly, I thought the fact that there wasn't a thumb was insignificant. Overall, these have worked out great for him. They've allowed him to go to the pool in a summer where there's literally nothing else to do!Downside: last night as I was putting him in the shower I was putting his "arm thing" on when I noticed a hole in the side of it. I'm not sure how long it's been there but I did notice the other day at the pool it wasn't inflated like it usually had been. It's probably been leaking water for some time now and I didn't even know it (someone else had put the cover on him that day). By the way, we had found the original arm cover... so I went and grabbed the smaller cover to put it on him and noticed it, too had a hole in it.So overall I'd say these are fantastic for saving a kid's summer. However, at $30 each they're a little pricy for something that probably will only last a couple weeks, four weeks max. If your kid has a broken arm and you want to be able to go to the pool this may be the only solution you have; just plan to buy several because they WILL break. We only have a couple weeks left with this cast so we are returning the one and replacing the second.

Our daughter broke her arm a couple weeks before a family trip and this saved our bacon. She was able to swim and play in the sand. It was really tight around her arm the first couple uses, but stretched a little after each use and became more comfortable for her to wear. With monitoring of her arms circulation, she was able to wear it for a few hours one day with no issues. We had the best trip because of this waterproof cast protector!

This cast cover absolutely saved our carribbean vacation for our 7 year old (and the whole family really). He had an injury two weeks before our trip and although he was put in a waterproof fibreglass cast with special synthetic softroll that was designed to get wet and dry itself we were specifically told that "the pool is ok, but sand is not." We were told that if ANY SAND got in the grains would get stuck in the material and scratch his skin like sandpaper.DISCLAIMER: I'm sure it's extremely risky to use it to protect a cast from sand so don't take this as a recommendation but rather this was our experience with it. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.This arrived in under a week (with 2 days to spare before our departure).We ordered a size small, which was absolutely perfect for him. Pictures of his measurements are attached. It was tight but totally comfortable. He swam for hours in the shorebreak and it stayed completely dry. Obviously better too snug than too loose.We made sure he had it on any time he went to the beach even if it was just for a walk in case he fell. He did all the usual beach things including making sand castles and swimming without any issues.When putting it on make sure to stretch the material only in diameter to get it over the cast and DO NOT STRETCH IT IN LENGTH. His developed a tiny 1-2mm puncture after being stretched too hard lengthwise when putting it on one time that likely aggravated a defect from regular use. Thankfully we found the puncture before going to the beach and applied some patch repair material on both sides of the hole for extra strength (the kind of single-sided peel-and-stick repair material that comes with pool toys and inner tubes). Make sure to examine the cover after each time it is put on and consider an immersion test (like checking for bubbles and water intrustion) before going to the beach. You can see the patch in a couple of the photos.If I was to go through this situation again (especially with international travel) I would recommend buying two and bringing some patch kits just because it would have been devestating if it became damaged in a way we couldn't repair.As it happened this totally saved our extremely expensive vacation and made the best of a bad situation for us.I'd give it 6 stars if I could.Good luck!

Funciona. Si está bien puesto y no se lo descoloca, no entra el agua y eso que el niño estuvo mucho tiempo en la playa y piscina. Es lo único que nos funcionó. La talla correcta para niño de 2 años y medio.

Excellent quality. Must be comfy as three year old did not refuse to put it on. He requested it every time to protect his bandage.Highly recommend for anyone needing to keep bandage or cast dry .
