Boltaron 4335 is a extruded sheet material with very similar working and performance characteristics to Kydex. It is used as an alternative to Kydex by some of the largest holster makers in the world. The finish is not as matte as Kydex, but the price is worth it. To make our material easy to work with we have a special cap layer applied to our Boltaron to prevent the material from curling when heated. If you've used Boltaron in the past and gave up on it because it would curl up in your oven, try this stuff!

I usually work with Kydex but Boltaron works just as well for making small holsters. And this is the nicest shade of blue I have found in either line. The colors available in Kydex are ok, but you need to get it printed if you want anything but the fairly drab regular colors to work with, and printed Kydex costs about three times as much as solid color Kydex. This was a nice medium.Would buy again.
