Peak Refuel Biscuits and Sausage Gravy Freeze-Dried Breakfast, 34g Protein

Delicious! I am a huge biscuits and gravy fan so I was super excited to try this. We made this while camping and it did not disappoint. The biscuits were pretty hard, but I believe they have to be in order to preserve them. They still taste really good. Really easy to prepare, very good quality.

These meals are fantastic. Every one I've ever tried has been over the top. Our family does a lot of overnight hikes and some of us solo. Over the years we have done homemade, dehydrated, freeze dried, any and everything on the market. The meer fact that we have eaten these on weeknights for fun will tell you how good they actually are. Not "life boat rations" not "survival meals" but actual great tasting food. Yes these are pricey. But considering the fact that they do not taste like alpo dog food means I'm not complaining. Sturdy packaging, so far I have never had on bust in a pack. For the ones complaining of the crunchy biscuits and how they do not rehydrate... (it very clearly says on the bag that they recommend breaking the biscuits up into smaller pieces. actually it's listed as a pro tip.) take that for what it is people. the only actual complaint I have is that I wish the product line was bigger. biscuits and gravy, cobbler (both flavors) granola (strawberry and mountain berry), home style chicken and rice, beef stroganoff, and chicken Alfredo are our go to's!!! they have a few others that we don't really care for, but that's because of the flavor profile. we wouldn't really eat meals like that even if we were not camping. like the chicken coconut curry, or the butternut dal bhat. Nothing against peak refuel, just not really our thing. Buy a few, try them out. We haven't ever regretted using them

I picked up just one Peak Refuel Biscuits & Sausage Gravy meal for a long road trip, and now I’m kicking myself for not grabbing a few extras. It’s surprisingly good — genuinely comforting, hearty, and far better than other freeze‑dried breakfasts I’ve tried. The biscuits were larger than I expected, which was a nice surprise, but it did change the rehydration a bit. Next time I’ll make sure to bury the biscuit pieces under the gravy mixture during the soak time. I didn’t do that on this first try, and the biscuits stayed pretty dry and crunchy. Still tasty, just not fully softened. Flavor-wise, though, Peak Refuel nailed it. The sausage gravy is rich and satisfying, and the portion felt generous. For camping, road trips, or emergency food storage, this is one I’ll definitely buy again — and in multiples.

Really great flavor and taste, the two biscuits don’t rehydrate, might want to take a hammer to the biscuits to break them up before adding water. Other than the biscuits there is plenty of meat and it’s kind of thick, might want to add a little more water than recommended if you want more of a liquid consistency. Would definitely buy again now that I know how to address the problem with the biscuits and the thicker consistency.

Very good meal. Flavor is rich and creamy. The biscuits don't really cook through but still have a delicious taste. Will purchase again!

The flavor was outstanding! However, they put 2 large biscuits in there that never rehydrate. They are so hard you can't even bite them. I had to throw them out. What is biscuits and gravy without the biscuits? The price for this meal is very high as well when you can't eat the biscuits and all you are eating is the sausage gravy.

Could eat everyday

WOW! Holy COW that’s a LOT OF MEAT! That’s exactly what I said when I opened one of these for the first time after letting it steep for 10 minutes… My first mouthful was like”HOLY CRAP! That’s a LOTTA MEAT!”…… and it was a lot of meat all the way to the bottom of that bag! And the flavor? Absolutely amazing! Are they a little expensive well YES! VERY EXPENSIVE! But are they worth it?… ABSOLUTELY! The water you just can’t put a price on good taste! Lol And I would definitely break the biscuits in half and even quarters as those are some dry sons of guns lol
