Seems to be a good replacement
My old batteries had a label that said "Keep Us Charged or I'll Die Young". The problem was that they were in a sealed enclosure and I didn't see the notice until I had to replace them. I didn't realize they were lead acid batteries which like being fully charged so they did die young. These replacements were a little awkward getting into the enclosure because their design is just slightly different than the originals. Once installed they worked perfectly and I am keeping them charged. I'm hoping for several years of life out of them.

Replacement Batteries For A Pignose Hog 30 Amp
Needed replacement batteries for my Pignose Hog 30. Two of these seemed to fit the bill.Getting the batteries was the easy and painless part. Getting the rear panel off the amp and the retaining bar out of the way took hours, a hammer, a taping knife, a bent wire coat hanger, almost every cuss word I know and large amounts of windex. Lord that "leather" covering likes to stick to itself. And the retaining bar was attached with special screws that shear when unscrewed. Fun fun fun. Not.The batteries took a charge from the Pignose charger with no problems once wired up, and were a form-factor drop in replacement once the old ones had been liberated using the afore-hinted heroic measures. My amp is as good as new, soundwise. The covering where the back panel meets the body took a beating, but the damage isn't visible with the panel back in place. The living room wallpaper is badly singed from all the cussing.

Keep them charged
Batteries as advertised, you need to keep them on the charger to make them last.

Resurection Of Pignose Hog; The Inside Scoop...
I am lucky enough to own this great little portable amp, but from the time I acquired it, it did not hold a charge no matter how long I had it plugged in. Well, I sell buy and sell guitars and like to attend flea markets and my own rummage sales and wanted the ability to "Plug In" at these events. With the replacement of the internal, re-chargeable batteries (two) in this amp I am now able to take this with me to these events and demonstrate the various guitars that I am selling. I am very well pleased with these items and their ease of installation. Thank you for solving a problem for me...

Just what I needed
Great value, however, they neglect to tell you you need TWO if you want to revamp your Pignose Hog. I had to order again and pay the ginormous shipping for it again. Aah, a musician's life!

Happy Harpman
Does what it does, the way it's supposed to. This battery, replicates the original , on all fronts. I charged them over night upon receiving them, and I have not plugged in my pignose for nearly,2 mths. With daily playing of amplified guitar and harmonica, I have to say I'm very pleased with the product.

Absolute Kaufempfehlung
