Valley of Stars (The Merriams Book 3)

As always, another great read. I have read in order this series and can't wait till the next. I love the wayPrevious characters come back into each story.

What a creative — and romantic — mind! This novel was so exciting that one just can’t stop reading, unless to catch a breath. Great characters, super plot, and of course the romance! Can’t wait to read the next one!

Valley of the Stars: Merriam Book 3 is by Ann Miles. This third book deals with Michaela, the youngest of the Merriam children and the scientist. She was concerned with plants and their effects on people. She worked for a division of Merriam Enterprises.The last person Michaela wanted to see or even hear about was sitting in her brother’s office waiting for her. Boyd McCellan had the nerve to get to her through her older brother, Connor. How Connor could have even listened to that traitor was beyond her; but she was ready to not back down as she entered Connor’s office. Boyd had betrayed her and as far as she could see, Merriam Enterprises too. He had left them to go to another science laboratory leaving Merriam’s and leaving her. What she was not prepared for was the proposition he had put to Connor. He had found the Valley of the Stars and wanted to go in with Merriam Enterprises to actually get into it and procure the flowers there. Connor insisted she go along with her boss, Dr. Iggy Ajara, her Aunt Clara and Uncle Arthur, and their butler. She was definitely not looking forward to this at all.It was only the Star Flower that would get her on with this mission. This elusive flower was said to be nowhere else and it was protected by a Kenyan army group. Boyd had finally located the connection to getting a guide for the area. Would they be able to actually get into the restricted area and find the flowers? Would they walk out of it together?

It's hard to put her books down. I look forward to diving into her next book. For me it is so relaxing to read Ava's books.

I enjoyed reading book 3. It is fun that the story continues. I felt like I was in Africa! We are planning a trip there so it made me more excited!

If you think you got this one figured out in chapter one, think again. You will not expect some of the twist this story takes for two crisscrossed ones to find their way to each other

This book was very interesting and held my attention. It had a lot of unexpected events and I like that. I would recommend this book and this author.

Another great read from Ava Miles. I was as entranced with this book as the other books. I rooted for Michaela and Boyd's future and got mad at Conner's attitude. I have to say that I was, and still am, upset that Marvin died. I was hoping he would have washed up on shore and was alive.

I absolutely loved this book I’ve read all the previous books in this series and haven’t been let down.This is the story of Boyd and Michaela they have travelled the world looking for superfoods and healing plants and have been chasing after the special healing plant in the mysterious Valley of the stars.But things don’t go to plan and they have to overcome a lot of obstacles including Michaelas own brother Connor who believes Boyd is trying to keep the flower to himself, but what he doesn’t except is to come up against his Aunt Clara and Uncle Arthur Hale and their trusty Hargreaves.I have cried and laughed through out this book and can’t wait to read the next in the series

Absolutely loved the story and the continuation of the family saga.
