Is this a steam cleaner as well and where do put the solution and where does the dirty water go

Rashad, this is a hot and cold carpet extractor, not steam, as stated in the title. We've changed the Amazon listing title to reflect this. Regarding the solution, you pour the manufacture's recommenced solution and dilution amount into the solution tank on the front of the machine. The dirty water is collected in the recovery tank and is removed by using the port on the back of the machine. Please refer to the image in the listing for better reference. It is a machine that injects a hot or cold liquid solution and at the same time extracts dirt from fabrics or surfaces. It is not a steam engine but if you heat the water to 200 degrees F

Horrible customer service

If we had received the correct item, as described above, this review might be different. Jacks Small Engine desribed a hot water extractor but sent us one without heat. We sent an email immediately upon unboxing with picures to follow. Due to leaving out 1 number as a typo in my original email, Jacks could not, or would not, comprehend they sent the wrong item. Despite numerous subsequent pictures showing it was not a heated unit. We had to contact Amazon Customer Service since Jacks would not stand by any guarantee nor admit they saw it was either falsely advertised or they picked, packed and shipped the wrong item to us. We had to return at our own cost and ship it back. I highly recommend that folks do not order from this company on Amazon due to their miscommunincation, or false advertising, or ability to comprehend in writing and several pictures that they made a mistake.
