Sprite Showers HO2-CM High Output Shower Filter Water Filtration

This Sprite showers HO2-CM high output shower filter is useless. The picture is shown is of two parts, one is filter and the other is shower head. The item sent was only the first part, the filter. I had to buy the shower head. The filter is not at all working. I don't want anyone to think of buying the product.

I bought two of these filters one for each bathroom shower. One is about 9 months old, and the other 8 months. I checked the filter cartridge on the older filter at 6 months and it still looked good. I reversed it and reinstalled and saw no change in the water pressure. The filters are working great in removing the Chlorine from the municipal water supply.

Maintenance never seemed to have time to change the anode rod in my newly installed water heater and the chlorine tabs only help a couple of weeks. The rotten egg smell was driving me nuts so this was a shot-in-the-dark solution. Installation was a breeze, water flow is uninhibited but the first few passes of my hard water with the aforementioned anode sulphur produced a foam initially for the first couple of minutes. After a week it stopped. So far it's been durable and keeps the water clean enough to shower without that horrid smell. Southwest water is notoriously "Hard" and mineral heavy anyway. I wish I knew about this in San Antonio. Happy I found this product!

Like how its easy to install, nice chrome look and great water flow as the name suggests.
