I thought that by just placing it on the floor my dog would just lay on it, nope. Doesn’t feel fresh. I put it in the fridge in a big ziplock bag for about 15 minutes and I lay it on the floor and my dog loves it! She will only lay on it when it feels fresh after it wears off she doesn’t like it.

The item was ordered and delivered very quickly. It was packaged well and with care. However, what I thought I bought and what I actually received are very different. The 'kennel mat' in the photo looks wonderful. I assumed it would be a thicker mat, sturdier for an animal to safely sleep/rest on, that would be durable, washable, etc. It is not any of these things and I would not leave a mesh bag in my animals kennel, so certainly would not use this.It is actually no thicker than a cleaning cloth, porous, mesh on one side (which an animal can easily become tangled in) and not great quality on the other side. When I opened it outside, it actually blew away in the breeze like paper. So, not sure what to do with it, but maybe a doll blanket?

Cocoa spends her evenings and most of the afternoon lying on her cute, durable and cool pad! She is so cute carrying it to the space she wants to lie down and cool off after being out in the 100+ temps Texas has in the summer. It is such a nice appearance wherever she decides to place it, the care and cleaning is so easy and there is no odor from her space. I have to say, it makes me happy that I have gotten her a comfortable spot to help her thru the summer! Cocoa admits she is happy too!! I have placed an order for a back up for the car or just as a backup! I had a different brand of cooling pad for our larger dog outside but he wasn’t as happy with it! This is a great gift for your dog that will make you both content and it will last for longer times than the silver ones that tear apart so easily. We give it a higher than the 10 rating!!

I cant really feel the "coolness" but my cats seem to enjoy it. May be a comfort thing since they lay on it in the summer and winter.

This is the third ever cool mat I have gotten for my dog. The other two have gotten old so I wanted to give this one a try for the price. However, I am disappointed. It feels like a regular blanket to me. I will admit it is fresher than other blankets but it doesn't last long and it is soft but it doesn't provide the coolness I was expecting. You can make it cooler by putting it in the freezer however I could just do that with other blankets. I kept it don't get me wrong it is a cute, light, easy-to-wash blanket however I wanted a cooling mat. Will continue to use it as a blanket but I bought a different cooling mat.

My dog won't use it so can't really comment beyond that. Seems well-made and easy to wash so maybe I can re-purpose it.

This works well. The only problem I have is it doesn’t last long enough. That’s due to my dog chewing it up. It has to nibble on anything we put in his kennel with him. Yes he has plenty of chew toys in there with him.

This product is not what I was expecting at all. The mat does not cool done at all. It is very flimsy material at best. It was a waste of money. The dogs/ cats wont use it. Not impressed at all. Save your money.
