Signal: 02: A Journal of International Political Graphics & Culture (Signal, 2) Paperback – July 17, 2012

This is a nicely designed chapbook-sized journal filled with full-color illustrations and photos. If you ever imagined that Portuguese democracy sprang fully formed onto Europe, you'll need to go through this graphic history of the radical groups that helped overthrow fascism. The journal mixes history lessons (anarchist communist newspaper clippings) with contemporary movements like the workers and students in Oaxaca with art history (the amazing Mozambique painter Malangatana). That's about a third of the book. Worth the price alone. Bravo Josh and Alec
