It's like a fisheye lens, which is why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars. It scrolls over a paper and leaves the edges a bit distorted.Having said that, it magnifies MASSIVELY! Everything in the center of the magnifier is crystal clear. Receipts and stereo equipment instructions are super easy to read with this glass. I bought it for my husband who has a hard time with the fine print on his electronic equipment manuals. He loves it! He covets it and won't let the kids wander off with it. LOL, I'm glad it works so well!

Perfect!
this is exactly what i have been looking for. and it works perfectly. while it is heavy i can still slide it over the text for easier reading. so happy i bought this.
