A Tempo Percussion El Cajoncito (The Little Cajon) - 3/4 Size Cajon Made in Peru

I am an elementary school music teacher. I purchased this both for myself and my students. I have a great time playing this instrument, finding myself able to get all sorts of nice sounds. And my students love when I call them up to play. It has held up well to their enthusiastic banging. Not much else to say – it plays and sounds like any cajon you're likely to have tried out, but it's a little smaller so it has a somewhat smaller sound. If you are on a budget, or live in a small space, or working with kids, you can't go wrong with this little cajoncito.

I love this little Cajon! It's the perfect size for me and so easily portable. I'm able to use it in a variety of settings for teaching purposes and though I am not a performer, the sound has been crowd pleasing. When the Cajon is in the room, Everyone wants to give it a try;p.

received today and returned immediately, does not have a good sound and only a couple of snares. for $100 you can buy something much better. ordered a de gregorio compass instead

This is a fantastic instrument! I purchased this for my kids to play on but I use it just as much and am 6'2". The bass sound is expressive and the snare gives a great crack. It is great for music sessions with friends and family because it doubles as a place to sit when you are jamming and is an excellent footrest when you are not in music mood.
