Jenny Wren: The Special Thank You

I have read Jenny Wren to my grandkids and it is such a warm, loving story that teaches children to appreciate a little bird who was saved by a wonderful friend. It’s also about patience, trust and kindness. Shirley not only a writes a beautiful story about her encounters with Jenny Wren, but she also brings it alive with her illustrations. I recommend this story whole heartedly for kids and grownups of all ages!

Beautiful illustrations. Questions for discussion and learning at the end of the story.

I find this book very refreshing, it shows simple moments in nature’s life can touch our heart in a precious manor. Keeping us sane in this world pandemic.
