It works very well for me, and I highly recommend it. **Q: elastic band holds on facial tape refill** A: I didn't get the refill one, the one I ordered the band and tape were all one piece. I personally couldn't get the tapes to stick for more than a minute and when I did all it did was wrinkled up the skin close to the tape and didn't "lift" anything. I found it really hard to work with and no matter how careful I tried to be the tape stuck to my hair while I was trying to position the bands. After ruining about 5 bands (not to mention losing hair) I gave up as my arms ached so bad from trying to get them to work.
