Take the Mummy and Run: The Riot Brothers Are on a Roll

My daughter got the first book from her school as Mary Amato was their Author in April. She loved it and wanted the collection. I’m a fan of her reading.

My son already loved the Riot Brothers books, and I found it refreshing to see that their female cousin is equally resilient, creative, and downright likable without being rude or mouthy (two of my pet peeves as an older Mom). I wish my children had cousins that are their ages to play with-at least we had a chance to read about a trio of affable, laid-back kiddos. A fun bedtime read for all ages! (But take no more than a day at a time, or you will be up 'way too late!)

Such fun books! My whole family aged 6, 14, and 35 loved all of these books. Great for reluctant readers. I read them to my six year old boys and they laughed out loud throughout! I like that the author uses potty and gross out humor, but not to excess. I never had to change the wording to make it more appropriate or easier to understand (which I often do).

My grandson lost the school copy. Searched high and low for a replacement. Amazon had it! The stores by this author are very good!

Now we have all of the Mary Amato books. My sons teacher gave him the first Good Crooks book, and he took to it so that he asked me for the others! and he's read them happily! He wasn't a 'big' reader, which is a matter of finding the right book! So, thank you Mary Amato, now he is interested in reading more!!

My six year old son loves these books. Hilarious and has him belly laughing several times before the end. He is fascinated with the stories, and with the brothers and their antics.
