Super easy how to....everything there to create your own tiles. Sand did get all over place, but not so bad that couldn't be used. Definitely worth the buy!

My only complaint is that the package of terrain sand came open during shipping. I had to clean it up as I was opening the kit. I was able to recover almost all of it, and with that aside, I am very satisfied with this terrain kit.Later tonight I will be sitting down with my kids to build a dungeon for our game nights.

This was well worth the money

When I opened my box Immediatly there was a problem. The plastic container that holds the sand for the set, had snapped. Right when I opened the box my room was suddenly FILLED with little sand particles. Most of them small enough that you can't even see them, but you can feel them. The sand got all over my bed, my floor, my clothes...me. it's been a real hastle to clean up. And I don't really understand the necessity of the real sand. There is a paint you can use for that? I get texture, but it is not worth the mess. Other than that though the product seems GREAT and I'm very excited to use it. It is worth mentioning, however, that this set will not last you. The supplies given are more of a one or two time use thing unless you are very careful with how you use it, but then you're limited to what you've already done.

This Dungeon and Dragon terrain set comes with everything! After putting in some work painting your pieces it will make playing that much more realistic. You'll be so happy you got this set makes for a great present too.

The paint is quality. Just don’t expect much out of the cutter. It didn’t work. Also the spray was missing the nozzle. Everything else is wonderful!The idea book is nice.

First - unlike many reviews my sand came tightly bundled and nothing has spilled. I'm not sure if I got lucky, or others got unlucky, or if there were packaging changes.That out of the way, I am beyond pleased with this set. It comes with a wide variety of paint, a hot wire foam cutter, plenty of foam, and a few other odds and ends that you'd need (brushes, palette, knife, tufts, etc etc). Its a great, fully self-contained set. I love that you don't need a single thing outside of this set to make some great dungeon tiles. My kit even came with some fun 'extras' to paint for dungeons (an altar, a lever, a ladder) - super awesome!There are included instructions that are adequate (with links to online guides for more tips), along with ideas of various things you can do if you decide to purchase more paints or get creative with your tiles.It should be noted that most of the included paints are perfectly usable for miniatures as well, so this is also a good way to start acquiring tools if you'd like to also do miniature painting. I've used the included sand and glue for basing, for exampleThe best part of all is that the pricey is very reasonable very everything that is included. Unless you already own pretty much everything in the kit I think this would be useful to even more experienced folks.For a beginner hobbyist this is a great first purchase, and I highly recommend it.

Love the product and the paints. Just have to try the styrofoam because I’m using mostly pink styrofoam.
