This shower head and slide bar are perfect for the shopper looking for a well made and nicely designed shower system, and does not want to spend a fortune acquiring it. It looks good, works perfectly and is easy to install. I would, however, like to suggest a couple of improvements.First, the handle for the shower head would feel more user friendly if the texture of thehandle grip was roughened. The handle that came in my package is very smooth and easy to drop. Second, if the manufacturer beefed up the slide bar ever so slightly, this bar could easily function as a grab bar.For the longest time I used to dread taking a shower due a lack of balance common to people of of my age and health. Now I once agian look forwad to it look forward to it.

A lot of reviews complain that it’s cheaply made. I don’t think so at all. Yes there are some plastic parts but over all it’s a lot more solid than most hand helds for the price. Only problem I had in the beginning was the water pressure wasn’t so great, but that was an easy fix. Just take out the little blue water conserver part that’s located in the heads handle. The slide bar works great for adjusting the height of the shower head. Considering what you pay for bathroom fixtures, I think this is a great value for the price-doesn’t look or feel cheap at all

Purchased this one after buying a name brand equivalent which was horrible and returned it. Even though this was twice the price, it was 3 times the quality. My only complaint is not with the product but one month later it was $80 cheaper. I tried contacting the seller to see if there was any compensation as there was only 30 days from when it was purchased but have never heard back with any acknowledgment. I would give the shower head 5 stars but not sure I could be that generous with the seller.

Overall this is a nice looking product with easy instructions to follow. We had to use the no stud option of installation and the anchors were defective. We made 2 trips to Home Depot (the first was for the right size drill bit and the second was to get new anchors). We have really good water pressure in our shower and with this head, it is very much diminished. I ASSUME it is supposed to be that way to save water. Personally I'd rather have the water pressure take my skin off. Lol. There are 4 setting and we can change it to give more pressure, but just on the regular setting, it is just not as much as we are used to.

I bought this to modify the original Grohe shower head for my aging parents (seniors). The shower head base connecting to the wall was non-standard so I could not replace it. Fortunately the base had a standard thread to allow workaround modifications including extension to make the shower head lower & reachable. Since they just needed the hand shower, I purchased the additional Moen Chrome Remote Dock which has worked really well just stuck to shower wall with no screw (cleaned the wall really well before sticking). There didn't seem to be an option to purchase the hand shower wand without the base which we didn't need. The media could not be loaded. My family purchased an older home 10 years ago. There were a variety of fixtures and hardware throughout the home. Many of the plumbing fixtures were crumbling/in bad shape, except one. The only fixture in the home with a Moen brand was the only one in nearly new condition. Since then we’ve only purchased Moen products and have never had any issues. We recently purchased this Moen shower wand and had a slider bar break after a few months. All it took was a quick email to Moen and without any hassle or questions, a new slider was in the mail. If that’s not perfect customer service, I don’t know what is. They stand behind their products 100%. I’ll be a customer for life.We own four of this particular wand/sliders and every one of them is used almost daily (family of 6). I love the convenience of being able to adjust the height for my kids and using the wand off the wall for extra help rinsing. My favorite setting is the jet setting to help rinse all of the shampoo/conditioner out of my daughter’s hair. Bonus, I use the jet setting to clean the shower often! Lol.

I give it a 3 only because of pricing for bronze finish, but knew this going in. they should use a gun for what they charge for bronze finish vs. chrome. outrageous over pricing for different finish almost double. a couple of coils started to unwind exposing underlying finish, minor, but for what they charge for finish should cover underlying parts of coils, leave it in holder mainly, will see if more coils unwind from use. nice detents on function switch not to stiff or to loose. had to cut rod with hacksaw to match length of old rod to avoid drilling new holes. mounted up solid looks/works good.
