Well written and you don’t have to be a physicist to understand it. There is a subtle humor and readability in Professor Cox’s writing that makes the scientific content easier to understand and inspires interest in science. If he had of been my teacher in school, I would have likely become a scientist.

Professor Brian Cox, I have been following all Brian's all of Professor Brian Cox shows on Amazon Prime for a while now. They are entertaining and educating so you learn while having fun. Brian Cox is much older then he looks. His interest and enthusiam about what he teaches is what makes the show outstanding. His books of course go into many areas that are not possible for his movies so they both are perfect ways to learn science.

I have for the first time in me life come close to understanding The General Theory of Relativity. I watched numerous videos on YTube after which I thought I understood momentarily but then some question and confusion piled up over what I thought I had learned and it used to get washed out. And when you come to the part in this book when it reads "Most of the time, books are better at conveying complex ideas than television", not adequetly convinced you read on because you've been disappointed so many times before. However, it feels like a sweet childish form of accomplishment when you indeed - surprisingly, do understand it. For the less fortunate ones who possess a decent IQ like myself, I am very glad that I got this book. Precious! Holds you in place, nails your brain with the absurd beauty of science and the universe and how much the human mind and intelligence can conquer. And for that reason, do not die without reading this book.
