PentelEnergel Alloy RT Gel Pen Medium Point Metal Tip Ballpoint Pen Black ink + Refill (Sky blue Body)

I purchased this to use with Pilot G2 refills (Not a fan of EnerGel...they're not good for detail, and they leave 'tracks'). Just had to drill out the tip just a hair (a 7/64ths bit is perfect!)...and I now have a nice pen that works with G2's, and is SO reasonably priced! This combo is one of the best pen deals out there! Now that I see that my mod works perfectly, I'm ordering more of these! The pen body is excellent for the price! Being all-metal, it has a decent weight to it, and feels great in the hand. It is well balanced, and has a quality feel to it, which makes it feel like a much more expensive pen. It's diameter is such that you can get a good grip without straining, and it just feels natural and comfortable (I hate skinny pens!). The mechanism is robust, and even the button is metal! The only downside is that this pen could have been even better if they just would have left off the gaudy Energel logos- namely the very large chrome one under the clip, which extends past the clip halfway down the pen, and the thin squiggly chrome lines on the lower part of the body. Without such gaudiness, these pens would really look like much more expensive pens- but none-the-less, it is still a great pen at a very reasonable price. Now if only I could find 'em in other colors too! All in all, I love the quality feel and overall look of this pen (Sans the gaudy details), and highly recommend it.

Really sucks that these cost so much and if you drop it once, it's over.. no more using. Gotta keep buying refills which get costly.
