Prepac Milo Mid-Century Modern 4-drawer Chest with Door - White

This item was for our guest room, and therefore we didn’t want to spend a lot of money for a dresser as it would not be used constantly. After reading many of the reviews, we were prepared that it was going to take several hours to put this monster together. It absolutely took about 3.5 hours to put it together because there are no labeled parts and you have to have a lot of patience. After it was put together, it fit our needs. The drawers slide very easily. It is heavy and we also put a 32 inch television on top of it . It’s also sturdy. Luckily all the parts came with it and there was not too many scratches. We just used a black marker to fill in the scratches which wasn’t a big deal at all. We also changed the cabinet knobs.

I’ve been so disappointed lately with ordering something and being let down by improper packaging, poor quality materials and insufficient instructions. This company has met all my requirements and more! Upon unpacking I was a little scared because of major gouges in the box I thought for sure it would be damaged. But they package the item so well with heavy duty molded foam that it was perfectly fine- not a scratch or ding anywhere not even from the factory! Then the second thing I noticed was the quality of the hardware and instructions. It doesn’t get any clearer and streamlined. Also they use real solid wood for the drawer sides which was also very nice. The quality of all the materials was above what I was expecting for the price. I put the whole thing together myself in a couple hours at a leisurely pace and only needed my husbands help to turn it over once assembled. I purchased the elite series wall cabinet from the same company and used this piece as a sideboard to create a hutch/ pantry. It came out perfect and I used hardware that I purchased to match the rest of our kitchen although the hardware that came with it was very high quality too. Very impressed with this company. Would recommend!

I had to hire a professional to assemble this product. I did not even have the sort of tools which are required to assemble it. If you are a person who is good at this sort of thing, it will be hard to accomplish. Once assembled, I was very pleased with the product.

This dresser seems like a decent piece of furniture and I'm happy with the finished results. The drawers slide nicely and the door was fairly easy to align. It came a week earlier than expected, very well packaged with no broken or scratched pieces. My only gripe is that it took my adult daughter and I (8mths pregnant) 3hrs to assemble this. Nothing is labeled, like others reviewers commented, and so it's a bit of a jigsaw puzzle, first figuring out which piece is which. The instruction book was very clear though. It is off gassing a little, but hopefully I'll be able to fill the dresser with baby's clothes soon.

I absolutely love this. It’s such a great addition to my bedroom. I use it as a tv stand. I also purchased the matching end tables (night stands) superb!!! Looks expensive but decently priced.

Easy to assemble, works great in my salon studio, love it!Except that there’s a spot on the bottom preventing the door to easily shut - you just have to push it closed.Also the edge of the top paint peels back. I’ll be repainting that with something more dye resistant.(Starfish knobs are separate purchase.)It’s a great piece of furniture though!

Pro: Very solid piece of furniture once assembled.Can be assembled by yourself. I am a 5' petite woman and I was able to assemble this by myself in about 2-1/2 hours.Directions are easy to follow.Cons: Screws, cam locks, nails, etc all cam mixed together in a bag. Had to spend 15 minutes separating them before I could even start. One of the screws for the legs came threaded. I had to find a substitute from my own pile.Paint comes off easily. All it takes is a hard rub and the paint flakes off. I had to put contact paper on the top of mine to prevent more paint from rubbing off.

It arrived very dusty with some scratches but not very visible. For the price its a beautiful piece of modern furniture
