Fixed check engine light.

So I have 3 cars that all use this exact gas cap based on the Amazon garage matching for my vehicles. I figured it was about time to replace them since they are at least 6 years old and I noticed the OEM cap gaskets are starting to weather. I put two of the three caps on two out of three cars. Within one day both cars that I replaced the caps on had the check engine light one within an hour of driving. I replaced both caps on the two cars with the original ones and cleared the codes. Days later and the factory gas caps are still fine and no check engine codes. Needless to say, stick with OEM instead of these ones. They may work for some cars, but as far as my Toyotas that’s a negative.
