Super Bubble Bubble Gum, 3lb Bag of Assorted Flavors Frustration Free Packaging

Do not confuse thus with "Double bubble"Another gum that has become non-existent in local stores here in NY. In the 90s/early 2000s you could easily find this gum for 5 cents a piece at pretty much any corner deli. Nowadays no one stocks them anymore for whatever reason.I was surprised to find these online, but then again this is Amazon. I immidiately ordered and actually considered paying for expedited shipping (yes, I was that excited).Please note that this may not be the normal size you are used to. These are the smaller pieces but it is in fact around 3lbs. Also if your favorite is sour apple (green) like mine is just be advised that there was a lot less of this flavor compared to the other 2 flavors. It seems like they stocked the bag up more with the original flavor and grape and slacked on the sour apple. This gum has been in existence since the 1940s and they claim that the flavor is still the same. I can't vouche for that far back but I can say it's the same as it was in the early 90s, short lasting flavor and all.Either way, ten bucks for a 3lb pun seemed pretty decent. Although I was hoping for an even spread between all 3 flavors the nostalgia alone was worth it.I just wish they'd put more sour apple!!Ok, I think I've spent enough time writing a bubble gum review. Exactly like I remember it! This has been my favorite gum forever. The texture is what makes it so perfect - it has a little bit or "rubbery-ness", which means I can chew it all day and blow big stretchy bubbles. I am far too old for it but won't give it up!

This gum tastes gross. So gross. And it’s so tough it hurts my jaw. But it blows big bubbles.

This gum takes me back! I remember being at the roller rink buying this gum and having fun with my friends. I still love this gum to this day!!

The bag said it had assorted flavors, but there was only about 10 of the apple flavor, which is kid of dissapionting

I bought this because I wanted to give my kids the experience of blowing a SUPER bubble. I grew up in Southern CA and I remember buying this gum for 3 cents a piece. The good thing is you can chew this for about an hour until it gets gross. Plenty of time to make multiple bubbles. The sad thing is this package was hard as a rock ,not bad after you chew it down for 15 min. But would of liked it to be a bit fresher!

Brings back memories of being a kid, that includes the flavor and elasticity only last about 20 minutes.

Way too hard. Hurt our jaws when we tried to chew. Loved the smell of the bubble gum and being reminded of childhood, but they were much softer when we were young.
