So far so good
My original hair straightener was discontinued I had it for a decade and it served me well. I was looking for an upgrade when it died in a similar price range for quality purposes. I came upon mint and liked the features. It has a silicone exterior which is nice to hold, the plates don’t snag your hair or cause frizz, and the buttons are clear and all work excellent, cord swivels and has a lock to keep straightener closed. I use this to curl my hair with and smooth it and it does great. It gets hot very fast and displays its temp. Only issue I have is a design flaw where you can easily accidentally hit the buttons when in use. It doesn’t happen often but it can. Hoping it lasts awhile tho I love it.

You get what you pay for
This is by far the best flat iron I have ever used. I have 4C textured hair and this flat iron straightens and smooths with just one pass. It heats up extremely fast and I love the digital temperature readings. It’s definitely worth the price IMO.

Great for thick hair
I have really thick, curly frizzy hair. It does a great job on the 450 degree setting. I only gave it 4 stars as I keep hitting the off button while using it as it is located where you hold it. Otherwise it’s great for the money.

Broken after a week. It’s always like if I turned on the power it will automatically off as soon as I use it to my hair.

Temperature Control Does Not Work
The flatiron works great. however, after 3.5 months of owning it, the temperature no longer goes up to 430 degrees. It stops at 410 and does not allow me to use the up button for temperature. If I lower it, I can't raise it back up. Very disappointing considering the amount of money I spent on it. Wouldn't purchase again.
