Perfect Family fun for little ones
Perfect family game for young kids!I bought this as a Christmas present for my friend’s two boys, ages 4 and 6, and it was such a great choice! They had the sweetest family time playing this game together.My friend even sent me videos, and it made me so happy to see how much they were enjoying it. She mentioned that the game actually kept two very hyper boys with short attention spans engaged for quite a while — which says a lot!It’s simple, fun, and perfect for family board game time. Definitely a great gift idea for young kids.

Great for young kids under 4, not so much for older kids over 4.
My 3yr old grandson LOVES this game!! It works well for his tiny hands. He's more gentle on it than older kids. I have noticed after a couple of months the levers are starting to stick and the head gets stuck but a quick tap and its back to working. My concern is the older kids are not as gentle and with repeated and harder slaps to the lever, it will eventually stop working all together. Looking for ways to prolong it's life for older kids. Over all, great entertainment!

Love the dinosaur theme
This was always a great game to play growing up and I love how they updated it to a dinosaur theme and made storing it very easy and convenient

Sturdiness
I want to start off with positive comments first. My grandkids (5 y.o. & 15 months) love this game. It's similar to The Hungry Hippo game I grew up with a couple of exceptions. When I opened the box you have to put it together (attach the animals to the game board). The game board is not the hard plastic like the original one and you have to disassemble the game in order for it to fit back into the box. I feel the game will not hold up like the original one especially with breaking down the game each time in order to fit in the box. With that said it is worth buying. Even my 15 month old granddaughter can play this game, to some degree, and has so much fun.

Not like the original!
This version is made of very flimsy plastic- the dino heads don't lift up, they pop off and the levers keep getting stuck. My 5 and 3 year old grandsons lost interest because it kept breaking. I bought the hippos version, and it's one of their favorites, but this is of poor quality.

One side/edge of the box is badly crushed. This sucks as it is a gift.

Lots of fun but quality not that great
It’s smaller and less sturdy than how I remembered my first hungry hippo. So the quality can be improved. A bit surprised at the not-so-great quality considering this is from Hasbro. But the kids had fun anyway…
